attending ACADIA 2011

Hi all,

It's a pity that out of all the 16/17 co-authors of our paper, only me who will attend Acadia. 

After talking to Suhee yesterday, I managed to persuade her to attend Acadia with me. She'll try to find funding from her university.

Why not? They have a list of really good speakers including Chuck Hoberman and Marcos Novak, the pioneers of kinetic architecture and virtual architecture.

Considering that Acadia is a top-ranked conference in architectural computing, and only 15-20% acceptance rate, the papers that get accepted are only the really good ones.

Hope it's not too late to persuade some of you to come and join me in Banff in two weeks time :)

p.s. I'm still waiting for your support to add more photos or videos and final codes to the Dropbox folder. It will help me preparing the presentation.

I’d love to come to Acadia, however I was not able to get any funding / time off from my company yet. But I am still working on it!

thats unfortunate, I really wanted to go, I got most of the
funding from the uni, my colleagues have also a paper there, but I
decided to stay because of our son.
