Guys guys guys,
We made it!!!

Thank you so much for your hard work and energy and focus you've put into the cluster in the past few days.

I feel that I am so much a participant as you all are, and you guys are cluster champions as we are, otherwise we won't have those six amazing installations that work like magic! So tantalizing that even toddlers love them.

(I happened to sit next to father of toddlers captured in our slides after the cluster presentation and he said he would buy electronics and Lego mindstorm for his kids to play with the tangible stuff).

We should keep our collaborations alive. Let's do a few things soon:

- dropbox clean up. I'll write about this in the next email. This is important as there will be another exhibition in DAC in a few months time.

- add each other's contacts in skype. Mine is flora.salim. Twitter flosalim.

- write papers and publish them.

About the last note, I wonder if you're happy to be involved as co-authors of the paper we'd like to write and submit to Acadia 2011 and Siggraph 2012.

Acadia 2011 deadline was 1 April and it's been postponed to 8th April. If you'd like your project to be part of the paper, please extend your project description to A4 length and add references if possible, and send it to me by 5th April so I can put it all together.

Let me know if you're happy about this plan.

Thanks guys.

Cheers,
Flora

Hello everybody,

Firstly I wanted to say thanks to everybody for facilitating this great

definitively stay in touch!

I have uploaded my latest source code here:

I'd love to be involved in the papers - I'll send an abstract later...
I am also trying to put together a little summary on the workshop
results to present within our office - so if any one has got any videos
can you send me a link?

Hi Everyone,

Thanks again for taking part in this amazing collective design session, I am also delighted we all have collaborated... it is quite profound and I hope that all these ideas that we developed will live further, and grow into something even more exciting.

Rafa Roa uploaded a video here , I also uploaded a short one here  . If you have more materials, please upload it to vimeo, youtube, flickr or our space on SG website. The more we share, the better.

What do you think about using google code to publish the programs ? If not, then maybe we should create dedicated part of ubiMash website for this? Definitely it would be good to publish the code in one place.

Rafa, can you add more tags to your video ? Like ' interactive, tangible table, augmented reality, urban design, kinect, projection, multi touch, processing, parametric, generative components' etc.

cheers!

I added more tags to the video. Hope everybody could find it better now.

I'm editing a new extended one of all projects, so stay tuned, I'll mail you when it is uploaded. I thinks this is going to be next week, because I can upload only one HD video per week.

I think that google code/ubimash would be a nice place to upload the code. Tell me when you decide anything and I will upload Group 3 code.

Thanks a lot to everyone.

Hi guys,
I've just arrived in Melbourne a few hours ago and I can't sleep (already almost 6 AM now). Probably because of jet lag, or too much sleep in the plane, or it might be because of the excitements from SG!

I've made a new post in our blog: http://ubimash.com/InteractingWithCities/
Thanks to Rafa who made the video!

By the way, do you all agree with contributing to a paper we'll submit to Acadia?
I'm going to share a GoogleDocs collection with you in a minute.

Cheers,
Flora
