This is a reminder from Mr Sciarretta about the final class meeting:

I wanted to pass along an important invitation for our final
meeting on Wednesday, May 25th at 6:00 pm. We would love to have every student represented by a parent.  Students and their siblings are welcome! There will be games for the children and a special slideshow presentation.  Please bring a finger-food, snack, or a dessert to share (plates, cups and drinks will be provided). 

The theme of this meeting is Welcome to Middle School!  New things to come and an exciting new journey! 

This evening has been planned by a diligent task force of the Parent Council. They have gone to great lengths to insure this evening will be

a lot of fun and a great way to end the year as a class!

Dear Upcoming 6th Grade Parents,

Please read the following attachment from Rachel Zell, parent and parent council member. We are looking for volunteers to come support Waldorf at the Farmers Market this summer and donate a day or two of your time.  If this is something you are interested in please read the following details.

The Downtown Growers Market has invited the school to have a table on Tuesdays and Saturdays all summer long.  In exchange for showcasing our amazing school we provide a simple activity to the children at the market. We have done two Tuesdays and a Saturday thus far and its amazing free advertising and a place to connect with real potential new families! 

Even if its just one day this summer and nothing more, PLEASE consider signing up for one or more days. Tuesdays from 7:30 -1, or Saturday from 6:30-1:00 from now until August 20th. As you can see set up is early but I will say it's pretty fun being with all the farmers who are also getting their tables ready. Tuesday market starts at 8 so set up is at 7:30 and ends around 12:30. Saturday market starts at 7:00 so set up is at 6:30 and then the market ends at 12:45 ish.
