Just wanting to remind everyone of the upcoming school fundraiser and PARTY! this Friday night!

50 Whatt Whale!  5-8 pm! $5 per blanket to get in and great food on sale!

Great way to get out and support the school, get to know new people and expand the community.  Bring friends too!

 Picture this - the smell of grilling food, a cozy fire to sit near as the sun sets (and moon rises) in the early fall evening.  

Sitting on a blanket with your family and friends, sipping on hot chocolate, listening to the tunes of one of Santa Fe's finest rock bands - 50 Watt Whale with Santa Fe Waldorf School's own Casey Anderson, and past parent Kevin Miller along with Rich Ryan and Mike Edwards. With three songwriters, the band brings richly varied musical styles and song forms to its listeners. Musical sets are often salted with tantalizing cover songs by the Beatles, King Sunny Ade', Talking Heads, Buena Vista Social Club, REM, Robyn Hitchcock, Neil Young, Stevie Wonder, Ani DiFranco etc.  You may find yourself getting up from your seat and dancing!

We do hope you'll join us for this amazing evening of music, food and friends! Bring your neighbors, cousins, extended family, colleagues, and a few tourists from the Plaza! A "blanket fee" of $5.00 is the only charge for attendance, so you can squeeze all your family and friends onto one large blanket, or opt to pay in $5 increments for each additional blanket necessary to accommodate your entourage. And don't forget that delicious food will be on sale, so bring your appetite along with your dance shoes. Food offerings for sale will include:

grilled hot dogs, (regular, gourmet, and tofu); side salads (gluten-free and vegetable); drinks, including water, soda, and hot chocolate; and an assortment of desserts.
