This note is directly from mr. S. in regard to this week.
Dear Fifth Grade Parents,
I look forward to sharing the fruits of our labor at tonight's Spring Concert. I am also looking forward to Grandparents Day, and our final celebration with the elders, on Thursday evening (4/28) starting at 6:00. Just like last year, we will share pizza together. However, unlike last year and for a number of reasons, we will not be meeting at the high school.
Instead, will meet at the
Santa Fe Care Center,
635 Harkle road
(Close to the hospital, and behind the Residence Inn on Galisteo).
The Santa Fe Care Center is approximately 3 miles from SFWS.
Like
last year, the students, elders, volunteers, and SF Care Center staff,
have all worked with enthusiasm and intention, to create a wonderful
celebration for Thursday evening.
Your entire family is welcome to attend Thursday's
celebration, which will start at 6 o'clock with pizza on the patio
behind the care center, and then we will move indoors for the specific
group offerings (likely around 6:30).
We will be leaving at 8 o'clock latest, in order to be in keeping with Santa Fe Care Center's routine.
I
am aware that this week is as full as full can be, but I hope it is an
enjoyable one for you and your dear children, nonetheless!
Thankfully, Peter
