Dear 5th grade parents,
Please read the attached letter from Mr. Rubens, our Movement Teacher at
Shining Mountain Waldorf School. I personally found the letter very helpful
for talking to my son before and after Pentathlon last year.
Parents who are coming to Boulder for Pentathlon, please check out this sign
up document. Almost all parents from our 5th grade are coming to volunteer on
May 13, to make this event successful and fun, there are even a couple of
parents from different grades.

We need your help. We are counting on 2 or more judges from each school - if
you are unable to make it to the judges' orientation the day before, you can
still sign up - please let me know if it is the case.
We need food servers, please check out that sign up area.
If you are at Shining Mountain overnight, you could sign up for early morning
job of set up, if able.
Each school needs to have their own photographers, who will get badges and
will be allowed on the field to capture images of students from their school.
Only one photographer per school, please put your name in the appropriate
field so that we could make you very special photographer badges!
Each school needs to have a person in charge of Pentathlon Tunics and Belts on
the day of the event, please sign up.
Pentathlon wills start early - arrival time is 7:45, with orientation for
students starting at 8 AM. We are finalizing our program and will send it out
next week.

Hi All,
Gilman has been out of school Wed, Thursday and most likely Friday. I do not think it would be good for anyone to be around him but especially since he is coughing, congested and contagious.
Is there anyone willing to fill in for me on Friday the first shift on chaperone duty. I will be happy to make it up (on another event) for whomever can take my place tomorrow.
