We got 20 new players yesterday at our intro. Hoping to keep momentum up with Basic of UWH. CP is providing Sundays in May for free to new players.
We’re prioritizing the people who came to the intro, but happy to teach others if we have space.

Hey folks –
Thanks for attending yesterday’s intro. We had a good turnout – at 20 new players, we had just enough for 10 v. 10, which is a standard match.
As you might have noticed, learning underwater hockey is not as easy as soccer, where you only have to learn to kick a ball. There is basic swimming and snorkeling to learn, then the dives, curls and flicks. Formation comes after.
Give this, if the game is for you, we’re happy to provide more time and games so you can learn the sport! We are providing the 4 Sundays in May with games for new players, with no cost to you.

- When: May 4, 11, 18 and 25, 2025
- Where: Fremont High School Sunnyvale
- Time: 330-530pm Pacific - please arrive at 3pm to get gear and warm-up.
- Cost: Free
We’ll develop the teaching plan depending on how many people sign-up. So, we’ll need a headcount – please sign-up and express interest here: https://forms.gle/mcYTLZmiJiaHVGbU7.
(Note: we hope you can make at least 2, preferably 3-4 of the Sundays so our coaches use their time well.)
We’ll likely limit this to the first 20 players, prioritizing folks that made the intro then first come, first served. That said, we’re happy to add your friends and family, provided we have space. Just have them sign-up using the same link.
Once you sign-up, we’ll add everyone to a WhatsApp group so we can all get to know each other, ask/answer questions, and stay abreast of game details.
