The Portland Underwater Hockey club is pleased to announce the first annual PDX 3x3 UWH tournament!

Where: Mount Hood Community College
                      3545 NE 17th St.
                   Gresham, OR 97030
When: August 2nd-3rd 2025 10am-7pm

Team registration at https://uwhportal.com/events/us-2025-pdx-3x3-uwh-tournament Registration closes July 13 and rosters must be finalized by July 25.

The pool is approximately 30 minutes from the Portland International Airport (PDX) and there are myriad hotels within a 2 mile radius of the pool.
There is a possible option to camp at a Portland UWH club member’s property in Estacada, OR approximately 30 minutes from the pool (will update).

Fees: $500 per team, no ref opt out available.
Please send tournament fees via paypal to Portl...@gmail.com (@PortlandUWH).

Competition format:
Teams will have 3 players actively playing and up to 3 players in the sub box. Teams will be capped at 8 total players on the roster.
This is a co-ed tournament. Each team will be required to have at least one woman in each game (1 of the 6 players) either in the sub box or in play.

If 8 or fewer teams are in the final roster, teams will play a full round robin with each team playing 9-10 games total. If 9-10 teams are in the final roster, teams will be allocated to two pods and there will be a round robin within each pod.

We will be attempting to replicate the Columbia 3x3 setup using an octagonal playing area that is 12.5 yards long by 12.5 yards wide. 7 minute halves for every game.

Referees:
Minnesota Rule. Each team will supply two referees after each game. Referee configuration will be 2 water refs, 1 deck (chief) ref, and a scorekeeper/timekeeper.
