Game formats
We pre-seeded the pods this year to keep things competitive and avoid the big blowouts.
Saturday
One pod of 4 teams with one repeat game
One pod of 5 teams in a round robin
Sunday
9-team double elimination playoffs
Seeds 1–4 will be from Pod A and seeds 5–9 in Pod B - your first game Sunday is effectively crossovers
If you keep winning you will play 4 games
If you lose the second-chance bracket gives you another shot at gold but it is the grind to gold. You could end up with 6 games, often with only a single game break
Finals are single elimination
Other important notes
Pool access is 8:00am so we moved the first game to allow time for warmup - 8:25 am
Medals right after tear down outside the pool
Food area is outside the deck.
Strict no food on deck policy.
Please be courteous to pool staff
Wrap-up beers at PT’s Pub (3935 S. Durango Dr., Las Vegas), 3 minutes from the pool. Casual spot with beer, food, and pool tables. No minors allowed
If you are on wall setup bring gear in case we finish early and run a scrimmage
