As a science advocate for Google Cloud, Dr. Allen Day knows a thing or two about the disruptive role of big data in biology. He has been involved in the management of several companies in the domains of biotechnology and data science since completing his PhD in bioinformatics in 2008. He recently started working at Google and is advocating cloud-based solutions for tackling problems in medicine, agriculture, and manufacturing.

If you're interested, come and attend Dr. Day's seminar on BigData Trends in Biology tomorrow at 11:00 AM in Shrum C9000. The seminar is open to everyone!

You are also invited to join Dr. Day to discuss science and career over some light snacks tomorrow at 9:30 AM in SSB 7109. Space is limited, so sign up quickly below (first come, first served)!
