Co - op in the bioinformatics companies.

Hello everyone,

I am a master student in the Computing Science (Computational biology lab) and am going to do co-op in the Summer 2017. I'd like to do co-op in the bioinformatics company. I am international student, so I am not familiar with local companies in the Vancouver. My bachelor was at Computer Science and Software Engineering. I am interested in software engineering position. I wonder if you could provide me a list of the companies that can provide me that co-op position or some advise on this issue.

I'm glad you could join us. 

I'm not familiar with the co-op opportunities in campus for the Computing Science students. I did a quick online search and I didn't find a list of options right away (https://www.sfu.ca/coop/programs/cmpt/graduate-co-op.html). I think Eunice (eunic...@sfu.ca) would be a good person to contact about general information for graduate students co-ops at SFU. Also, I think MITACS has some information of companies in the area that work with students http://www.mitacs.ca/.
