How 'bout this!
Jams
Every Saturday night this summer.
Some night's we'll do improv (I've got some great new games)
We can do comedy sketches
Bands can play
We can have games or gameshows involving audiences and real prizes
We can tell stories
Or do poetry
We'll sell drinks too.
Since it'll be every week we'll start to understand the discipline it
takes to do something like that. Also, more importantly it'll make us
a real presence in the community. And give people something to do on a
Saturday night.
This summer I want to listen more to what you have to say. I've come
to understand that to achieve a great company we need to work harder
to incorporate everyone's ideas. In the overall running of the company
and in individual productions. The mainstage show will need to follow
the basic structure we've used before (organizationally speaking
(expect big changes)), but this variety show would be an excellent
oppertunity to do something that is truly ensemble work. It can be
great stuff.
