I'm sorry to have to tell you that we will not be preforming the
Halloween tour at the Myrtles. Though our script and plan was generally
accepted and welcomed - the insurance cost was too high and so the show
has been cancelled.
I thank you all for your help up to this point. We would have had an
awesome show, I know it.
The Myrtles has asked if some of us would like to be hired for the
Friday and Saturday before halloween to give regular Mystery tours.
This would pay only ~5.50/hr opposed to the $6/hr I had arranged. If
you are intrested in doing this please let me know NOW. I plan to do
this myself and I hope some of you will join me.
On the plus side this opens up the oppertunity for us to possibly put
together something to be preformed as part of Heritage in the Hills
November 4. Possibly at the Myrtles or at Greenwood plantation. If
anyone has any ideas of something that might be fun to do, likely a
short play or a one act, let us know.
This will also let us focus more on the Christmas show. I'm submitting
a formal proposal to use Grace later today and I'll be focusing on the
other arrangements.
This isn't the first show we've had to cancel but it still is
dissapointing. We'll try again next time. Let's get ready for
Christmas!
Thanks,
