East Bay Center for the Performing Arts in Richmond, CA is hiring a Student Support Services Coordinator (details below/attached) to join our dynamic and mission-driven team. This is a unique opportunity for those with backgrounds in social work, counseling, education, or youth development to support students—especially those from low-income communities and communities of color—through creative, healing-centered programs.

Location: On-site in Richmond, California

As part of the Center’s Programs Team, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the mental health and success of students in our Young Artist Diploma Program, mentoring youth through college prep, connecting families to resources, and leading trauma-informed practices with our teaching artists. We’re looking for someone who is organized, compassionate, and committed to social change through the arts.
Ideal candidates will have:
A Master’s in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field (or be a recent graduate)
Experience working with youth from diverse and underserved communities
A belief in the arts as a tool for healing and empowerment
Bonus if you:
Are Spanish-speaking
Have experience as a practicing artist
Have supervised MSW interns or led student support services
