electives fall semester

Hi all!

Just wondering if any second years took awesome electives last semester that they'd recommend. If you did, did you have trouble getting into the classes?

A couple of us took an Addictions course through the Counseling department.  I wouldn't recommend the class, but the teacher, Kristen Dempsey, mentioned that she might be teaching a motivational interviewing class.  I would check that out if it is available next fall.  It wasn't difficult getting into the class but it took some coordination with department staff.  Dempsey was very nice and let in a sizeable group of us.
