The Santa Rosa 200km is coming up on March 13th, a perfect spot between our (SFR) 300 and 400km brevets. The course is extremely flat for something not in the central valley, and therefore pretty darn fast. The brevet ends at the Bear Republic brew pub where most riders share a meal after a day on the bike. I hope to see many of you there. I'm looking forward to concentrating on nothing but the ride and a burger at the finish.

I'll be doing the Santa Rosa 200k along with my father. I'm looking forward to seeing you there Rob! I'll be riding a blue Roger De Vlaeminck and my dad will be on a blue Rivendell. We will definitely come say hi if we see you and hopefully we can ride together for a bit.

I'm totally looking forward to the Bear Republic "control."

I will ride my blue Sycip. Rob, can you make sure you ride your blue
bike?
So if you see rider on a blue bike, it's a good chance he is SFR :)

Um, which blue bike do you want me to ride? I, um, have more than one blue bike. ;^)

Will a blue-green work out or will I need to paint my Atlantis a purer blue?

No blue bike since my '77 Nishiki Intl. was stolen in '85, but I'll be riding. I miss my blue bike.

I initially only wanted to do the SFR 200ks, but Santa Rosa sounds
like fun!
Our family does not have a car, so I was wondering if anyone has extra
room in their car for me and my bike.
The bike is silver, but I will paint on SFR in blue paint, if that
will effect my potential for a ride.
I live in the Mission, 18th and Alabama, but I can ride out to any
location to coordinate a carpool.
Thanks,
Ely

Putting in a good word for Ely for anyone that might give him a ride up and back, Ely has twice already volunteered on SFR brevets! This would be one easy way to pay the volunteers back for their support of SFR rides, plus Ely is good company.

I'm driving from East Bay (Castro Valley area) on I-580 over Richmond
bridge all the way to 101. SF is out of my way, but I have space for
one bike and one rider in my VeloBox.

Thanks Rob, and thanks G! I really appreciate the offer to carpool.
Good news, my good friend and godmother of my son, Margaret, is
loaning her car to me for the ride. That means I have room in my car
for anyone who needs a ride!
If so, let me know.
I live in the mission, 18th and Alabama for anyone who wants to roll!

I don't mind waiting at the finish control for anyone, as long as you
don't mind waiting around for me! My first 200k was 12 1/2 hours, the
next one was under 11.
I plan to bring my fast bike this time, so I hope for at least sub 11
hours.
I'm bringing a stash of warm dry clothes.

I'm planning to do the SRCC 200k brevet this Saturday. If anyone's
interested in carpooling, I'll be driving up from SF (The Mission),
and I'll have space for one person (in the car) + bike (on the roof).

Cheers,
-Jim G
