Hi all,

I recently upgraded to the newer Whoop device and my Whoop 4.0 is available. Whoop is an app that will track a host of data including heart rate, heart rate variability, sleep, strain, recovery, etc. You can read about all that here.

Whoop tracking is done with a wearable device and works on a subscription service. This 4.0 device can be used free for 2 months so you can get an idea of the data you get. To use this device you'll need to create an account with a credit card linked, but your card will not be charged until you've finished the 2 month trial and decided to keep the subscription. (You'll need to let the device 'get to know you' before you will get meaningful data.

Personally, I've found the sleep data to be very useful, and of course I keep track of the strain and recovery scores. I've been using a Whoop device since April of 2020.

Let me know if you want to take this 4.0 device, which comes with a new wrist band, the charging cable, the battery pack (I usually recharge this about once a week).
