Hi all,

Yesterday, SFR hosted the Mt. Hamilton 200km. This was the 3rd time the route had been run in the warmer months and now we've had bookends on the weather with a past version being super cold and now this super hot version yesterday. There was a water stop on the route, between the summit of Mt. Ham and the Rainbow Junction cafe as well as roving water supply between the Junction and the summit of the last climb on Mines Road.

38  riders started from Fremont BART. Alas, due almost entirely to the heat (forecast as 92F just after noon) only 12 riders finished the full route.  A course record was set yesterday as 3 riders finished at 13:30 exactly, breaking the old record of 13:29. That trio can rest easy knowing that no one can ever break their record on this 200km route. Congratulations to all 12 finishers from yesterday.
