Any riders in the 6'2" to 6'5" range looking for a great deal on a quality steel rando bike or frame? I am retired from serious road cycling. After replacing both hips I asked the doc if I could still bike ride. He said, "Sure, just don't crash. I may not be able to put you back together again." So I'm now just a crosstown bike path commuter on a much slower, bike.

About the bike:  Serial #J10003 (3rd frame built in Sept 2010). Custom ordered through Stone's Cyclery in Alameda but frame was not sold. Dennis Stone sent it back to be repainted in it's current color, English Light Blue. I bought the frame off the rack at Stone's in early 2013. Jason Pierce did an outstanding build up on the frame at time of purchase. Between 2013 and 2015 I completed 3 Super Rando series and 3 1200k's (GRR, 3CR, & PBP) with this bike. Since then it has seen much lighter duty on the roads of Santa Barbara County.

Build is original mid level Shimano drivetrain and brifters. Tektro brakes. Open Pro 36 spoke wheelset. It rides well but Is due for newer components.
The frame is sound and rust free, the paint is good.

I'm 6'3" and the frame fits me like a glove. Attached with pics are complete data/dimension sheets from Waterford. The ride is exactly what a randonneur expects. The bike is light, fast, and nimble but very stable. I have fallen completely asleep while riding it and awakened without a wobble.

Pics and stats are here:
I got a great deal on this bike when I bought it from Stone's. I want to pay that forward and offer a great deal to someone in need of a top tier steel rando frame who has limited funds. I'd love know that it's under someone striving to ride future 1200k's.

I can occasionally deliver to SF Bay, you can PU in Santa Barbara, or we can arrange shipping.

Bonne route!
