Lopes road is a common road to use when heading toward the Davis area. A landslide has taken out the road and it is closed to all traffic. You'll need to detour if you were using this road on your Fleche Route (as our team had planned). From the south, one option is to take Lake Herman Road to Columbus Parkway to the Solano Bikeway to McGary to Red Top. I've never personally taken that route so I'd be happy to hear if others can comment on the viability of that option.

I have not ridden the Columbus Parkway section from Mnt Herman Rd but have taken the Solano Bike Path. No issues other than you are going uphill once you get on it. The small section of Red Top is a no brainer.

While we’re talking about road closures - Highway 128 is also closed due to a slide from the Dam to Pleasant’s Valley Road. PVR is open, so if you are suing 128 (Cardiac) to come down into the Davis/Sac  region, you would need to come down to Fairfield instead via Wooden Valley and head up PVR towards Davis.
