Nice write-up about Rob in the latest American Randonneur magazine. My favorite line: when asked what his favorite brevet route is, Rob replies "I'll have to say it's a tie between the last brevet I did and the next one I'll do."

That's Rob. He comes from the Orangutan School of Brevet Riding, "Never let go of the brevet you're on without having another one at the ready". Or, er, something like that! Nice photo; love that Cheshire-cat grin!

Thanks for the comments guys. Closer to home, the comments are less positive. The two comments heard at the dinner table were 'your nose looks even bigger in the picture' and 'why did they want to talk to you?'. Tough audience there.

Ouch! That's harsh. And thoughtless. I enjoyed the article. I thought
it was articulate and an optimistic look at the future of
randonneuring, locally, nationally and internationally.
