Hello Randos,
In a desperate effort to resolve some stubborn knee pain, I'm looking to get a professional bike fit. If you know of a bike fitting place in the city you can recommend, that would be rad.

Thanks!

Ari at Bespoke Cycles worked for me. They were recommended by another Rando and are in the City at 2843 Clay St., 415 642-5652.

My wife and I have both had fittings with Ari at Bespokes, we have no complaints.

Andrew at http://www.bikefit-norcal.com/ is really good with knees.  He uses cleat wedges to eliminate lateral knee movement which works really really well for me.

Ari rocks!! Not a bike fit issue but he resolved my horrible hot foot issue that started with the long distance riding. I had tried everything that's generally recommended (moving cleats, etc) to no avail. He fit me with insoles with metatarsal pads and like magic, no more hot foot!!
He has a great rep for bike fit too.

Depending on where you are located, Lorri Lee Lown does a great job. She spends a lot of time and does an indepth analysis of your various injuries and aches and pains as well as having you pedal attached to a computer.

She made a huge difference for me.

I had bad left ITB pain after longer rides, went to see Tony Tom at Bicycle Odissey in Sausalito. He put on cleat shims, changed the cleat angle, recommended exercises to balance the work on the left knee.  Pain completely gone.  Would definitely recommend.

Dave at Revolutions In Fitness did my bike fit and Jeanette did PT work first to give Dave information on my past injuries. A retul fit. It's in Palo Alto. I have a $50 coupon you use.

Check out their website.

I had a very good experience there also, a few months ago.

Thanks everyone for the replies!
It's good to learn randos get fitted too. Somehow I imagined that was only for triathletes or something :p

Thanks again!
