Hi all!

New to the SF area and signed up for the 200k on Sunday. Wanted to ask for the best practices for arriving to the start and where to park. I’ve learned the hard way that BART is not an option on a Sunday morning.

I’m coming from the East Bay. Can I park at Crissy Field and leave my car there all day? Or should I look into parking elsewhere, and if so any recommendations?

Thank you in advance.

You can park at Crissy Field all day. I also live in the East Bay (Union City) and have done that a number of times.

Hi Errin, welcome to the Bay Area!

Getting to 200Ks by car is usually pretty straightforward: just drive to Crissy Field East Beach and park there all day (it's free! ...for now).

The transportation planner in me would note that AC Transit operates overnight transbay bus service - but realistically, if you have access to a car, I would just drive ;-P
