Hi all,

I'm planning to do some SFR routes as tours/perms this summer, and wondered if it's always OK to park at Sports Basement overnight, or if there's someone to contact to let them know/ask permission?

Good luck to all the GRR riders!

I just talked to them and they said the Presidio owns it, so don't park there.
I could take BART from Berkeley, but that adds quite a bit of time to get to the GGB. Any ideas, anyone?

The Walt Disney Family Museum is near common SFR start locations, and has good information on paid street parking:

The museum also provides this helpful map:
(Note that the ones without a "X hr max" note are the ones where you are allowed to park overnight.)

There's also the Marina parking garage over on Pierce Street:

Lastly, this site here seems to have some additional options:

Generally I'd rather BART and then ride along the Embarcadero than deal with driving in SF, but if driving is right for you, there's some parking!

thanks!

BART doesn't go early enough for our planned start, otherwise that's what we'd do. Might still do but then the start would be significantly later.

Not so bad driving in SF at 3 am :-)
