MCBC's Big Bike Bash

Hey Friends!

Happy New Year, and I hope all is well with all y'all! I know it's been a lonnnnng time since I've posted to this list. I wanted to share the news that I'm now the Communications Manager for MCBC, the Marin County Bicycle Coalition! (I was laid off from KQED last summer -- along with 15% of the company -- due to the bloodletting of public media that occurred last year by the Orange Monster.)

We have our annual fundraising event coming up on March 12 -- Big Bike Bash -- at the Mill Valley Community Center, and I'm asking for your help!

There's many ways to support the event, which include: 

1. Buying a table for 10 as either a Trailblazer Sponsor or Champion Sponsor
2. Buying a table for 8 as an Advocate Sponsor
3. Helping to spread the word and invite your friends (I can provide language and promotional materials if this is amenable to you!)
4. Sponsor in-kind donations (merch, drinks, etc.)

It'll be my first time attending as I recently joined MCBC in November, and I'm looking forward to meeting fellow cyclists, local officials and other notables from the Marin community. And you can have the chance to meet the staff, who help make Marin a wonderful place to ride bikes! Plus there'll be a gourmet dinner by Emmy-Award winning Ryan Scott; a live and silent auction; music provided by Mercy & The Heartbeats.
