The bike lanes on Castro Valley Blvd are great!  Several of our RUSA permanent routes use this stretch of road.   But now the issue at stake is a proposal to remove the bike lanes. See link below.  Please sign and share the petition.

That stretch of road connects Palomares Rd to Redwood Rd. Definitely an important bike connector. It's also used on the East Bay SR600 route.

I think it's on at least 2 of my permanents.

Biking that section is already quite unpleasant, I can't imagine what it would feel like without a bike lane 😞
