Hi fellow esteemed randonneurs
I am planning to ride the Morgan Territory 200k Permanent on Saturday, Febuary 7th, in order to keep my R-12 streak alive. I will be joined by my brother who is visiting from out of town.

We will be riding the Morgan Territory 200k route using this modified route: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/41503216

If you are a current RUSA member and have signed up for the permanents program (it's free!) you should feel free to register for the permanent and join us. We'll do our best to roughly stick together, depending on size and relative speed.

We will start the ride at 7am at Mother Tongue coffee on 41st st. Please let me know if you intend to join so that I can make sure to include you on any follow up communiques.
Cheers,
Noah

Noah was pretty clear in his description about this ride, but for new RUSA and SFR members who understandably find the distinction elusive, I wanted to emphasize that this is *not* an SFR event hosted by our club, and you won't find this on the SFR brevet reg form (and therefore don't have to worry about a past deadline). You need to register for the RUSA perm program and then register for the permanent itself on the RUSA website. (I've been contacted by concerned members who think they missed the signup deadline.)

While the route may be based on an older SFR brevet route, the ride is a permanent (and therefore isn't an ACP event and won't count toward PBP Pre-registration).

Now, for those who are looking for brevets and in particular are interested in SFR brevets, our next event is on the 14th, when we run the very popular Del Puerto Canyon 200km event, and we currently have 70 riders signed up for that (and expect > 100). Registration for that will close on Wednesday the 11th.
