Tailgate for TaTas - Sept 13th from 7-11 (have the space from lunchtime until 2 am)

All the fun of a tailgate without the sporting event

Where: The Greenway Club - 1300 Falls River Ave, Raleigh, NC 27614

Cost: $25/for the month of August, $30/Month of Sept

What:

Beer: Currently interested breweries: Prime Beverage, Big Boss and Lonerider

*need to contact: Bombshell (holly springs - 919-346-6135), Boylan Bridge brewpub ( 919.803.8927), Clouds Brewing (opening this month so may want to get the word out Downtown Raleigh - 919.235.7949),  Crank Arm (my friend Holly), Gizmo Brew Works Brier Creek (919.782.2099), Natty Greene's Pub and Brewing Downtown (919.232.2477), Nickelpoint brewing (opening this summer may want exposure - 919-916-5961 ), raleigh Brewing Company (NC State Area - 919.400.9086), Trophy Brewing Company (downtown - 919-424-7817), White Street Brewing Company (Wake Forest - 919-647-9439)

Cornhole - We have a set, Merritt, Conrad and Joanie, Landria, Mendy
 

Other games - ladderball, darts, pool, flip cup??,

Musician - Jared Place

Food- Planning on 2 vendor trucks.  Jane has a friend with a popcorn machine

*Helen will put together a list of finger food desserts from her catering experience and we can all make something to serve

* Need to get donations from local restaurants (wings possibly), grocery stores (veggie and fruit trays?, sodas, water., BJs or Sams - possibly sodas or water, cups, whatever they will give

*Need to get official cornhole rules to post on the FB event pg

*Jane is working on getting cups made and having sponsors put their image on the cups

* Merritt is looking into team t-shirts

Helen and I began brain storming about food yesterday. She has great ideas for sweets,we will come up with a food plan once we know what we have donated and what food trucks will be there.  I think we should go ahead and post save the dates on our own facebook pages  we want folks to get this on their calenders it could look something like this

All the fun of a tailgate without the sporting event.

The Greenway Club Raleigh 7pm - 11pm

This will encourage folks to get it on their calenders. Then we post the official invite when we know the breweries who will be there.

My brother in law sent me instructions on making beer mugs with bike bells.  I am going to call them "ring for a refill"  i found bulk mugs and bicycle ells on line.  We can sell these separately or use them as prizes.

Ya'll are so awesome! It's going to be a great event. I'm more than likely going to miss the actual event as I think that's the week we'll be at the beach but let me know if I can make something ahead of time.

Wanted to give a quick update.  I've talked to or heard back from a few more breweries. Clouds brewing and Raleigh Brewing company said yes.  Nickelpointbrewing and bombshell are discussing it with their partners (bombshell only has 5 gallon tanks so not ideal for them to donate- they don't have mini kegs yet)

Gizmo said no,  they get a lot of requests so they don't donate beer.  If we wanted to buy the beer they would come and serve/pour but won't give us any they are too small.

Still waiting to hear back from boylan, trophy and white st.

It's coming together!
