Well, just got back from the transmission shop.  They weren’t able to finish up my gear swap/front end rebuild today.  The owner is going on vacation for a week now, so I wont have my truck for yet another week.  I sure miss driving my truck.   I guess its better to have something done right and take a bit longer than have something done half ass and done quickly.

Wow...i got a response from weirdbeard! The zombie hunter extraordinaire!
Your posts on mud are great. I also like the resident evil movies, but I
think I would rather just run them over. But, like the one zombie movie
where they were sniping them from the rooftops, that would also be fun. My
rifle would probably be pretty good at that, but not as good as yours.

I had a chance to get a rifle like yours, but passed on it and got this one
instead.

I love it. It was my very first rifle that I bought. Tried to order it
September 12, 2001. You can figure out why. Called HS, they said they were
sold out of everything, including existing customers orders. Turns out the
Government came in and bought everything. They suggested calling some gun
stores as they new some had them in stock. I originally had not wanted a
take down nor didn't want a 300 winchester magnum. I wanted the .308 normal
stock. They didn't have that, but had this take down. I thought about it
for a few hours, and decided I wanted it. Gun shop was down in escondito.
Was a nice drive from up here in the bay area. So, back to HS. As far as
rifles go, I don't have a lot of experience in them, but I really do like
mine.
