Well, came up with my own temporary solution to my fusible link problem, made a little extension and so far its working. I am still waiting to hear back from ULC about the extension that they had sent me. Drove around some, still have just normal water in for now, waiting on a few additional heater hoses from CDan, but the temperature stayed right around 182 deg reported from the scangauge. This is a remarkable improvement over my previous around town temperature of 200-204. Without a doubt, replacing the thermostat, radiator, water pump, and fan clutch made a big difference.

Also put the headlights, turn signals, and grill back on. Oh, that’s right, I have a big L on the front again 8-)

After 2+ years of having an ARB bumper, I finally got around to putting my M12000 into it. Did take some work, and I had to call a friend to come over and help me lift the bumper/winch combo to install it. I did end up having to take off the control box to get it in there. I am going to fab up a plate to mount it in the upcoming weeks (more like months knowing me). Does look good having it all in there at least.

Well, time for bbq tri tip sandwich, hope everyone had a good weekend wrenching or wheeling. Hopefully I can get everything done soon and maybe make a trip to Hollister hills to check out how my truck does.
