2004). NORSIG 2004 will present all aspects of theory, design, and
applications of signal processing. The aim of NORSIG 2004 is once
again to act as a venue for a thorough presentation of the state of
art of the signal processing science in the Nordic countries. Authors
from outside the Nordic countries are also warmly invited to submit
papers. Papers are invited for technical sessions on, but not limited
to, the following topics:
- Adaptive Signal Processing
- Communications Signal Processing
- DSP Education
- Fast DSP Algorithms
- Fuzzy Methods and Genetic Algorithms
- Genomic Signal Processing
- Image and Multidimensional Signal Processing
- Linear Filter Design and Structures
- Medical Image and Signal Processing

- Neural Networks for Signal Processing
- Nonlinear Signal Processing
- Speech and Audio Signal Processing
- Statistical Signal Processing
- VLSI for Signal Processing
- Wavelets and Filter Banks
Accepted papers will be published on a CD-ROM Proceedings of NORSIG
2004 that will be available at the symposium, and also on the
Internet.
To Submit a Proposal

Call for Special Sessions
NORSIG 2004 welcomes proposals for Special Sessions. The organizer of
an accepted Special Session will be responsible for acquisition of
papers, must arrange a formal review of the papers by at least two
reviewers, and should chair the Special Session at NORSIG 2004. A
Special Session consists of three to five 20 min presentations of
regular papers, or of one invited overview lecture of 40 minutes and
two to three regular paper presentations. Proposals are to be as
complete as possible, including contact information of the organizer,
the title and short description of the proposed Special Session,
including motivation for organizing the Special Session, and the
titles and authors of the papers, if known. Please, e-mail Special
Session proposals to the Technical Chair by Feb. 29, 2004. Reviewed
and accepted papers must be formatted according to the Author
Instructions, and submitted to NORSIG 2004 according to the
instructions on the NORSIG 2004 Web Site by March 23, 2004.
