Nyt Ojala ja Leisola ovat siis lopullisesti ilmoittaneet kantansa maan ikään
kirjoittamalla artikkelin YEC-lehteen.
Antti
Katsoin vielä Ojalan ja Leisolan artikkelia. Leisolasta siinä sanotaa mm:
xxx
Leisola
regularly speaks on intelligent design in various Finnish
Universities. He has translated or edited into Finnish several
ID books, and has been involved in organizing university
lecture tours for a number of speakers including Professor
Wilder-Smith in 1979
xxx
Minkälaisen kuvan tuo antaa Suomen yliopistoista. Suomen yliopistoissa
pidetään siis säännöllisesti ID tilaisuuksia.
Antti
Mikähän "huuhaa-palkinto" mahtaa olla englanniksi jos
lähettäisi lehteen korjauksen :-)

Humbug-prize? Näin Skepsiksen mukaan;

Mä arvelen etteivät he tarvitse ylimääräistä mainosta, joten auttava
kätenne taitaa tällä kertaa jäädä tyhjäksi. Lol
Toisin sanoen kieltäytyvät oikaisemasta pamflettinsa asiavirhettä, ja
tietoisesti valehtelevat että Leisola saisi saarnata uskontoaan Suomen
yliopistoissa?
Pelkään että olet oikeassa. Kreationistit ovat toistuvasti osoittaneet, että
tarkoitus pyhittää keinot, ja oman asian puolesta valehtelu on sallittua,
jopa suotavaa.

Tympeitä asiassa on tietyllä tavalla se, että ryhmän kreationistit
ajoittain kehtaavat kutsua itseänsä kristityiksi. Ainoa omalla
vinoutuneella tavallansa uskonnollinen heistä lienee tietotasoltaan
joukon heikoin JPK. Ja hänkin on vain lahkonsa talutusnarussa laukkaava,
vailla omaa ajattelemisen tahtoa.
Itse en kaipaa keskustelua kenenkään epätieteilijän kanssa. Mutta olisi
silti joskus mielenkiintoista nähdä jonkun muutoin sivistyneen/oppineen
kreationistin kommentteja täällä ryhmässä. Heitäkin (valitettavasti)
näyttäisi Suomessa olevan, yliopistotasollakin.
All the best, Timo

Taitaa vain olla niin, että nuo fiksummat kreationistit ovat sen
verran fiksuja, että eivät tule tällaiselle foorumille. Enkä kyllä
ihmettele lainkaan, en minäkään heidän sijassaan tänne tulisi.
Kreationismia kun on paljon helpompi levittää sellaiselle yleisölle,
joka ei tunne biologiaa, osaa/halua tarkistaa faktoja tai muista
mitään viikkoa pitempään.
Jukka
Eivätköhän he vain häpeä sitä, että heidät niputettaisiin silloin hyvin
helposti timotarvosten, pikkumarkkujen ja juhapekkojen joukkoon. Voisi
vähäsen syödä sitä hituistakin akateemista uskottavuutta, jota
joillakuilla heistä vielä jostain syystä on.

"prof Leisola ei osaa kemiaa edes lukion oppimäärän verran"
- TJT2, sfnet.keskustelu.evoluutio 27.1.2007
Noiden pölvästien tehtävä on vain pitää väittelyä yllä, jotta fiksut
sitten näkisivät argumenttimme joita vastaan he sitten keksivät uusia
hämäyskeinoja.
Kannattaa siis harkita, mitä noille vastaa. Epätieteilijöitä ja
valehtelijoita sekä _eksyttäjiä_ on liikkeellä.
Leisolan yliopistoluennot ovat siis enimmäkseen kristillisten
järjestöjen kasaamia. Ne vain järjestetään yliopiston tiloissa. Näin
ainakin kävi Tampereen yliopistolla joitain vuosia sitten. Huom.
englanninkielinen teksti sanoo: "speaks of ID" eikä "gives lectures on
ID."
