Here in Helsinki you can find a lot of fishing stores. There are two
for specially flyfishing and a one only to the sport fishig....
Fly shops are Kalastin: Et.Hesperiankatu 12 00100 Helsinki. Phone:
+358(9)4540959
It sells G-Loomis and a Scott, a
very good shop. I recomend.
The other one is Helsingin Perhokulma
Can't remember the address but's
it's near Hietalahden tori. Can't remeber the phone too.... sorry...
Only good store for lures and spinning and casting is Wobbleri.
Pursimiehenkatu 18 phone: +358(9)665001

Hope that these will help ya!

Hello Markku
Thank your very much for your answer.
I am most interested in salmon fishing in salt water. I fact I run a little
lure manufacturing company here in Denmark.

Apart form the name "Rappala" I know very little about fishing in Finland.
Are you able to catch Salmon in saltwater around Finland?. How should a
"metal lure" look like in Finland?
I should be pleased to receive any usefull information

Best regards

- Yes, we are able to catch Salmon in saltwater, and salmon-trolling is
coming more popular all the time. Metal lures used mostly are Breakpoint,
NothernKing if thinking about import models and Tiura, Iron, Iron-Horn from
domestic models.

- At Helsinki area, the shop what is mostly specialised in that kind of
fishing is Wobbleri at Pursimiehenkatu 18, 00150 Helsinki, phone: +358 9
665001 and telefax: +358 9 666151

Hope that this is even a bit usefull info.

Hvis du vil laese noget om lystfiske i Finland og har mulighed
for att bruge www så kan du finde information på engelsk
i http://www.vn.fi/vn/um/finfo/english/fisherm.html.

Maybe you have a clue about it now, Thomas. Metal lures are not very known
here in Finland. It has not been always in that way. Personally i like to
cast Eira 30g, it's for all the beast.
