I am trying to use a Palo Alto firewall to send Flows to my sFlow Trend server. I only get the following:

"sFlow version 589842 packet not supported"

Does sFlow Trend server support Palo Alto Netflow, or do I need to tweak something to get it to work?

sFlowTrend only supports sFlow, not NetFlow, so it won’t work. If the Palo Alto can send sFlow, then this should work, however I suspect that it only supports NetFlow.

Stuart

AFAIK, sFlowTrend does support Cisco Netflow, just a different port.

You might want to check with Palo Alto support for your specific issue.

sFlowTrend definitely only supports sFlow. The link that Harish provided is for Traffic Sentinel, a different InMon product (which does support NetFlow, and most of the other traffic monitoring protocols).
