Nomination Videomeeting on April 1, 2020

Fellow Lions,

We will be having an informal Town Hall via videoconferencing this Wednesday, April 1, 2020 at 7:00 PM, the time of our normal monthly meeting. It will also serve as the Nomination Meeting for next year's club officers, as discussed in this email chain.

Prior to the meeting, if you will be joining via smartphone, please take the time to download the Jitsi Meet mobile application for iPhone or Android. No installation is required if joining from a computer.

To join the meeting at the designated time, simply open this link: https://meet.jit.si/BlindDucksSmileLazily. If you are joining via smartphone, you might have to click on the link below the blue button to Continue to the app

If you do not have a smartphone or computer, you can dial in to the meeting by dialing 512-402-2718 and entering in meeting ID 1619 2539 93. This is not ideal, joining via computer or the mobile app allows you to view the video feed, which is where we will be presenting the nomination committee report, also found below.

Finally, some tips and common courtesy when using videoconferencing:

• Introduce yourself when joining the call
• Say your name before you speak
• Mute yourself when you are not speaking
• The meeting will be recorded and made available to those who cannot attend
