Dear SF F18 Group,

As you may have heard, the new Nacra Evolution F18 has been announced. Testing of the production model has been going on for over a month in Holland and results have been very encouraging. Nacra will be sending two boats to So Cal in December so that we can continue testing and developing a tuning guide that we can share with Evolution owners.

There have been a few California F18 sailors who have expressed interest in getting one of the new boats and I have been negotiating with Nacra to send some additional boats to California in the December timeframe. Normally production boats are not available until spring on a first-come-first-served basis.

It looks like we may have at least one additional boat sold in CA. Nacra has offered free shipping to the Nacra warehouse on the east coast if we can get five new boats ordered from California. We would have to arrange shipping from the east coast to CA, and of course the cost would be less if we have more boats.

We could rig all the boats at the same time, helping each other get our boats together. We did this with a group order of five Nacra 15's a few years ago and it worked very well.

Attached is a flyer. Please let me know if you are interested. Time is short to make our order. Nacra need the 20% deposits by the end of the month in order to set aside the current boats in production for our order.
