I normally mail myself a copy of all my posts, for my own
email/news archives. Lately it hasn't been working. So
I've fiddled with some settings, to see if I've got it going
right again.

JP: I lost all my loaded software in a recent hard drive crash and this
is a test to see if I can post to the Forum.

Filksinger:
I can't get Free Agent to behave. I will not recognize news.sff.net.
When I D/L'd all the news groups (twenty plus thousand of them) I could
not "Find" this news group. I don't know what went wrong. Any
suggestions?

Thanks, Gary Cavender was able to help me through the rough
spots on Free Agent and I am once again a dedicated Lurker who reads
everything that is posted. <g>
