Well, it looks like I'll be a no show for the Gathering this year. I
was just starting to think that it would work out when I got an email
from my father Tuesday. It happened to mention that he's getting
married 1 August. So instead of Baltimore that weekend, we'll be
heading for Ft Wayne, IN. Sigh. I'm tempted to post his email address
here and let y'all "convince" him that a better day could be found, but
I don't think that would be appreciated.

Eli,
who's still thinking, "Hmmm, if I could get a flight with a long layover
at BWI, then maybe...."

Umm,
You might want to know that you posted in a 9 month old thread. A
useful (and unfortunate, though congrats to you dad!) message, though.

Disappointed to say the least, particularly since you're going to be
here in Indiana. Life is just too strange sometimes.

Congrats to your Dad, tho you might ask him to work on his timing.<g>

Eli: If I am in the area, I could possibly get to BWI and ferry
you to and from the Gathering (I hope to attend and I will be
driving). Assuming you make your layover truly long. It is
certainly worth considering.

Too bad, Eli. I'm a little nervous that we haven't heard from Tom &
Diane or the Sparks lately. Karen, you were a maybe, how is that
shaping up?

At least we'll be able to celebrate the engagement!
