Hi Jade &/or Yog,

Is the sffnet mailserver down? Couple of folks over in irc reported it
not responding since about 7pm CST.

Just checking.

Thanks,

Judy

Only the POP3 part was down. (It's back up now.) No mail was lost, and both
incoming and outgoing went on time, but you couldn't get your new mail with
your POP3 client.

Remember, you can also check your mail through WebNews (webnews.sff.net).
It's not terribly fast or beautiful, but it does work even when POP3 is down.

Apologies for the inconvenience.

Looks like the POP3 server is dead again this morning.

Seriously so. There was a while I couldn't get on any of the SFF
hangouts--web, newsgroups, nuthin'. Mail is still down at 4:30 EST,
but at least I've been able to poke around the webnews thing and see
what's there. And glad for the option, too!
