Morning all,
Thanks to all those who attended last night, it looks like quite a few
seats were empty because people forgot. In future we'll get lists of
attendees early on so that we can email people direct-like (I did
communicate on all other channels but forgot this tried-and-tested
method:)
Formalities out of the way, the meet up was great. The talks were
incredibly fluid with tons of questions and almost as many prizes as
people. The venue itself was most rocking and I think we might be
hosting all future events there too!
The next set of talks will be late October/early November and we're
looking for 4 speakers. Topics can be on anything that Salesforce owns
including
database.com, working with Heroku, Rails (they don't own it
but you get the gist) etc. The talks will be 10 - 15 minutes each with
some time for questions. The talks will be fairly casual i.e. slides
are even a requirement :) Let us know if you're interested.
The video from last night is available here:
http://skillsmatter.com/podcast/home/team-development-strategies. I'll
make the slides available separately.
kthxbye,
Wes
