See below for the INCREDIBLE information about the closeness of the race. We could win this by a few hundred votes, so every effort, every door knocked, every dollar donated at this point REALLY MATTERS! 

Jessica is the only woman poised to flip a seat in CA this cycle. She's a climate chamption, the former Deputy Secretary of Wildfire Risk Reduction for California, worked for women's right in Iraq, and helped Central Valley farmers during the pandemic. We can have a forest advocate in Congress, representing most of California's watershed. And in the bigger picture of keeping Trump out of office and stopping a dictatorial takeover... well, as you know: 

• We need to Flip 4 seats in the House to regain control for Democrats. 
• New members of the House and Senate are seated January 3rd.
• The House certifies the Presidential election on Jan. 6th.
• If we regain control of the House, we can assure that the Presidential election will be certified on Jan. 6th, regardless of threats or actual political violence. 
• If Mike Johnson and the GOP still control it.... 😑😬 who knows what might happen...

My election is down to the wire and we are in a strong position to flip the seat.  Kamala is beating Trump in the district, so I can beat this MAGA extremist, but it's going to take all hands on deck to do it!

Based on current ballot returns, we estimate that we are currently within about 1500 votes of Kiley -- the election is going to come down to getting low-propensity democrats to turn out!  When we win we will unseat the next generation of MAGA extremists and get the only woman flipping a California house seat into congress!

The State of the Race and some facts about Jessica’s campaign:

Jessica had a phenomenal debate against opponent Kiley and held him to account for his shameful record on wildfire and abortion. You can watch the full debate here and I have included some clips of her closing statement, her plans for wildfire mitigation, holding Kiley accountable on abortion and again on his dismal wildfire record.

The race for California’s third district is being closely looked at by analysts from all over our country and the House Majority may very well lie in this district. Our extraordinary candidate for Congress has a great shot at unseating Trump's so-called “MAGA Champion,” Kevin Kiley. In fact, Kamala Harris is currently beating Trump in the polls for CA-03 which helps us have that down ballot push. Paul Mitchell's article from Capitol Weekly had this to say about the lead,  "Harris is currently leading Trump by a 47-46 margin in this seat, potentially showing reason to be more optimistic in this district where the Congressional candidates have traditionally overperformed the top of the ticket, be it the Governor’s race or Presidential contests."

Our district is turning out in a BIG way! District 3 has the second highest Democratic turnout of all the swing seats in CA! Dems are turning out 5.1% above Republicans as of today, negating the registration advantage. There are just about 125,000 votes already in and 30,000 new ballots just today! That's similar return margins with Democrats over performing by about 5%. 

And if money talks (and votes), then we’ve got this in the bag. The Washington Post is reporting on donations by zip code - and CA 03 is donating to Kamala over Trump 2:1!

New polling from the Public Policy Institute of California shows that “majorities favor the Democratic candidate over the Republican in House races across demographic groups and regions.” They also found that Democrats are more enthusiastic about voting for congress this year.
