Hi all:
I shot Stacey from Fringe an email about this tonight, but then I
thought it might be worth posting here too just in case.
My name is Stephanie and I'm a parent of a child that attends the Rosa
Parks Elementary (public) School in San Francisco's Western Addition
neighborhood.
I wanted to see if anyone is interested in putting on a performance
for our students at an upcoming Fall BBQ we are hosting on Saturday,
Sept 24 from 11-2.
We have a small handful of parents that support the school and have
been talking about how cool it would be to bringing a Double Dutch
program into the school somehow. (PE or after school program)
A performance (to inspire the kids) and then giving some basic
instruction (turning the rope, how to enter, count and jump out) would
be awesome entertainment at our Fall BBQ Fundraiser. Not to mention,
it would also serve to help us parents figure out if this is something
the kids would like us to bring into the school's activities. We'd
love to get our kids moving in a fun and dynamic way.
Any takers?
Stephanie

P.S. Loved the SFCDD tutorial video on youtube.
