Fw: SFC DD demo at our block party? 9/26 1-8 pm

Hey Everyone --

Who's down for doing a double dutch demo on 9/26 1-8pm for a South Berkeley Block party?  More details below.  What I told my friend, Philip, was that it was likely I could get a handful of folks (levels 1, 2, & VIP) out to play around.   We don't have to do anything formal. Bring the ropes and just jump. Like the Van Halen song. It would be a good way for the three VIP teams to practice the new parts of our routines.   It would also be a great way for all of us to meet and hang out! :) 

Please RSVP to me personally (kir...@yahoo.com) by tomorrow night (Thursday) if you can come, your name, and what level class you're in.  I just want to make sure we'll have enough people at a variety of levels before giving the go-ahead.

hey ladies!

i am working out the final details for our Fairview Street Block Party
(1st one ever!) in South Berkeley, and it occurred to me that it would
be AWESOME to have some double dutching going on. we already have
hooping demos and workshops by QueenC, and it looks like the
Oaklandish crew is coming with their merch van and will be hosting a
4-square tournament. we will also have a nice boomy sound system with
hip hop and old skool tunes all day. it's going to be a lot of fun.

the block party is next saturday 9/26, so i know it's short notice. i
know stef is probably out due to a swollen case of stupid burning man,
but what about the rest of you? pleeeeeeaaaaase?

lemme know quick if you can. i want to finish up the flyer tonight.
