Fellow SFCCLC Members,

You are invited to the first SF Council Meeting of the year this coming Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at 7:00 PM (seating at 6:30 PM) at Canton Restaurant in Daly City, hosted by the San Francisco Fil-Am Lions Club.

Dinner will be $30/person, and we would appreciate your RSVP to LionA...@icloud.com ASAP so we can inform the venue. More details can be found on the attached flyer.

Below you will find the meeting schedule, which will be updated as we assign clubs to host our future meetings. You can save https://bit.ly/sfcclc2021meetings for future reference.

Lastly, we understand that some may not yet feel comfortable gathering and eating with large groups. The intention is to set this up with a Zoom call so those not attending can listen in to the in-person proceedings, but I cannot guarantee this will turn out well, especially in regards to sound quality.

We hope to see you and your club members there, if not in person then over Zoom.

Fellow SFCCLC Members,

A reminder that our first meeting of the year is tomorrow, Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at 7:00 PM (seating at 6:30 PM) at Canton Restaurant in Daly City, hosted by the San Francisco Fil-Am Lions Club.

You can find a digital version of the agenda below.

Again, we do appreciate your RSVP to LionA...@icloud.com. Doing so will speed up the line to register and pay.

Lastly, if you are not able to attend in person, below is the Zoom information to join remotely. Bear in mind this is our first in person meeting with Zoom, so it stands to be seen whether the experience will be worthy of being called a "hybrid" meeting, or only a radio broadcast. We'll do the best we can with what we have to work with.

Fellow Lions,

Here is the recording of our meeting last week, with the minutes coming soon. Feel free to watch if you were not able to attend, or if you want to review. I think the Zoom/hybrid setup worked out pretty well!

(video thumbnail)

As discussed, our August meeting will be Zoom only, since it comes the week after DG Dr. Jun's installation.

Lastly, with some reluctance I must report that, at our last meeting, someone took possession of the San Francisco Council's bell and gavel, which I had just received from IPP Peter earlier that evening. I would appreciate it returned before our Installation on September 5, so that we have something to show alongside the Peninsula Council.
