Fellow Lions,

The +SFCCLC will have it's next meeting on Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at 6:30 PM at Tai Yuan Seafood Restaurant in Daly City, hosted by the San Francisco Chinatown Lions Club, and celebrating Chinese New Year. Please forward this message to your club members, asking them to celebrate the Year of the Rat with our fellow San Francisco Lions Clubs.

The San Francisco Chinatown Lions has requested that all those planning to attend send an RSVP to +PCC Emil Kantola no later than this Friday, February 21, 2020. This is not a Council meeting to miss, make sure to send in your RSVP on time to secure your spot at the event.

Fellow Lions,

Reminder that today, Friday, February 21, 2020, is the last day to RSVP for the Wednesday, February 26, 2020 Council meeting. Please relay your RSVP to +PCC Emil Kantola.

You can find a link to the agenda below. Since we anticipate the space on the tables being primarily occupied by the amazing Chinese New Year banquet planned by the SF Chinatown Lions Club, I will only be printing out two copies of the agenda per table. Please use your mobile device (or your neighbor's) to access the agenda before and during the meeting.

The same can be said about the previous meeting's minutes:

If you will not be able to attend, we ask that you be on the lookout for the flyer for our Police, Firefighterrs & Sheriffs' Awards Night, which will take place on May 2, 2020. We expect the flyer to be out within the next week, and it will appear first in this discussion thread. We count on the San Francisco Club Presidents and Secretaries to reach out to their members, forwarding the flyer and discussing sponsorship of a peace officer at your next monthly meeting.

Thank you, and see you Wednesday.

Hi Lion Peter,

Apologies, I have a scheduling conflict that day. Sounds like a fun event.

I regretfully have to notify the SF Council that the SF Unified Lions is not able to host the March meeting. This is my first year interacting with the council, so I’m not familiar with the protocol. I would suggest the scheduler for calendaring clubs to host, to send an email requesting the club to host instead of putting a list together. Our club has a lot of projects and events, its a lot to ask of our members to request their participation in the SF Council meetings.

As mentioned, our club will have one or two tables on May 2nd.

Please put me in touch with the scheduler for next year.

Thank you.

Best regards,
Lion Carol
