Lake Yosemite Spring Regatta (Merced) may 18-19

Let's go racing at Lake Yosemite May 18-19. !  This us our one travel regatta pla ne for this year....

 The lake is located at a countty park near Merced and typically offers great fresh waterl sailing, with warm temps . 

Approx. 2 hr drive from Richmond with no traffic. 3 hrs with traffic .

NOTE: Eastbound Friday afternoon traffic from the Bay Area can be tough.  Ideally you would want leave by noon friday to miss the traffic , arrive early set up byte and tent and enjoy a beautiful summerlike evening and sunset on the lake. 

Very civilized camping on grassy lawn with picket fence. the RC runs out of a small house, offering breakfasts and BBQ dinner sat nite.  

Jenn, Annie, Deirdre, Deb,  Angie and I went last year - we had such a great time we want to go back. 

Logistics to haul boats consist of trailers (2 bytes) and car top.

Please reply:

- yes or no. If yes. 

- if you have a road worthy trailer 

- vehicle with trailer hitch

- car top capability

- when you can go up (friday morn, mid day or after work or sat early).

BTW I am very proud and super impressed with how you all handled the pursuit race last sun !
