Byters -

I am thrilled to share some upcoming Byte events !

1) Dan Brandt will run a Byte sailing clinic Sunday Aug 30 at RYC:

-Novice /New Byte sailors in the am, followed by a tune up race clinic for experienced Byte sailors.

-Details to follow but based on wind conditions the Novice clinic may start early (0830 or 0900)

-Cost TBD, generally 2 1/2 hrs on and off water coaching

2) Totally Dinghy is on ! Thanks to Robin Van Vliet and Standing Race Commouttee the event is scheduled Sept 12 and 13. On a limited basis is my current understanding ( RYC members only may launch from or use club facilities). I will check if non club members may race by sailing to the venue.

-Format : Buoy racing Sat , Pursuit race on Sunday.

-Charter Byte is available at this point

PS - some of us RYC Byters are sailing the Beer Can tonight - if cinditiins favorable- forecast looks to lighten to 6-8 after 1500. We shall see !
