Kyle had a great day today. He has been very chipper and talkative today. This morning they had him up by 10 am and walking about 10 feet. He spent much of the day sitting up in a chair. This afternoon he walke 255 feet. He's pretty proud of himself for that. He said his knee has less pain now than it did before the surgery - we'll see if that holds tomorrow when the block wears off and they have him just on oral pain medicine:).
Right now the plan is to replace the left knee on Friday and send him home on Monday. He'll have home health care coming to work with him at the house. I'll let you know how things are going tomorrow.
Kyle said if anyone is interested, he is happy to have visitors - other
than Friday after the surgery. He's in room 13 at Texas Health Harris Methodist Southlake Hospital.

Excellent news!! Thanks for the update. My apologies for just now replying, we were on the road ('in the country' --Louisiana) for Thanksgiving and returned late last night.
Continued prayers and I will forward an update to the CRHP guys and St. Francis Prayer Ministry.
God Bless,
Kevin

His surgery went well today. He should be out of recovery soon. He'll rest today, but they will have him up and doing PT tomorrow.

Kevin,
Will you please share the following with your CRHP group?
Thanks!

Kyle will be going into Texas
Health South Harris Methodist - Southlake (the hospital near Central Market) next Monday, Dec 2, for knee replacement surgery. He'll be there all week and will have his second knee replaced that Friday, Dec 6. Assuming all goes well, he'll come home early the following week. His first surgery is scheduled for 2pm Monday, so I'll likely update you all that evening.
Thanks for the prayers over the next few weeks!
