Sendkeys method in Flex UI selenium

Hi,

1.I am using flex-ui-selenium.0.1.1.jar for my automation activities.I
am facing an issue while entering input into a text box. When I used
doFlexType method I am able to enter the special characters into text
box which is not happening when I manually entered it from keyboard.
Actually text box should not accept the special characters into text
box.

Can any one tell me what could be the problem here or is there any
alternative for this like sendkeys.

2. how to pass multiple properties to a flex selenium command.

any help would be appreciated.
