AI-generated scientific hypotheses lag human ones

I've been using AI "Liner" (https://getliner.com/) successfully for a year now. It accurately locates references for my scientific investigations. Today I noticed this "Hypothesis Generator" option.:

Then, I read this article:
It concludes with a "what if . . . "
